A policy synthesis project mapping how mental-health disclosure rules shape incentives for pilots across regulatory systems.
Why this matters
When disclosure feels professionally dangerous, people may delay care, hide distress, or avoid support until the problem is harder to address. That is a policy problem, not just an individual behavior problem.
The matrix helped compare how different aviation systems frame mental health, certification, reporting, and risk. The goal was to understand where rules create trust and where they accidentally create avoidance.
